I guess it’s time to start learning to navigate the men’s room. + gaining muscle mass in my arms despite eating at a caloric deficit. (this is a pretty pleasant surprise!

Print Shop Mail Suite V7 Cracker here. But also please be aware that I’ve worked pretty hard at it too. It didn’t just happen.) + oily / gross / smelly foreverrrrrr. + breaking out like a 14 year old. + hair hair everywhere. Most noticeably, darker and thicker on my thighs and stomach.

Noticed like two dark hairs on my arm the other day. Also my chin fuzz is now occasionally visible from more than six inches away. + I guess my voice is now somewhere in the male range? It’s no longer giving me away when I speak. + shark week hasn’t returned since the first month. Non testosterone related!!! + downloaded the Zombies, Run!

5K app and started on week 2 today. Super exited about it. + also downloaded the Stronglifts 5x5 app, and hope to have the funds to join a gym in the next few weeks. Will continue my current bodyweight routine until then. + down to a size 32 in pants.

I haven’t been this small since I started wearing men’s clothing. All in all, I’m feeling pretty great. Some days are a struggle, but on the whole I’m feeling better about my body all the time. Hello friend!

I’ve actually only been kickboxing for about eight months, so I very strongly recommend checking out ‘s blog. He’s an incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly guy, with lots of workouts posted to his youtube channel. I mean, just browsing his workout tag is like finding a goldmine! Not sure if he does kickboxing or not, but supplementing your training with some of his workouts would still be helpful:) Aside from that, I can only tell you what I personally do bc that seems to work well for me: weights, kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu jitsu. I started weightlifting back when I was 15, bc I read that having more general physical strength would help with taekwondo (it did! Gta Vice City Files Backup Software here. ).

After I was no longer able to do tkd, I kept up with the weights bc I just like being strong:) I’m at the point now that I just do what I feel like I need to do, but I’m still very loosely basing my workouts around the Stronglifts 5x5 program, which is free I started KB and BJJ at the same time, and the combination of the two with the weights seems to really work well for me! (never boring, that’s for sure lol) I’m getting HIIT with BJJ, building endurance with KB, and using weights to help avoid major injury by strengthening and rebalancing my body So yeah, aside from “do more kickboxing and be patient” I unfortunately don’t really have anything specific to kickboxing conditioning that I can share:( Check out jaxblade’s blog for awesome supplementary workouts you can add in, and keep on keepin’ on! Happy to hear from you.

Starting up with weights can be really intimidating! It really took me a year or two until I could say I had any sort of confidence in the gym - I’ve found that the trick is to just keep showing up. I can understand why so many folks like crossfit, it’s kind of a way to get your hand held through the beginning process and then it’s help with motivation if you’re the type to be motivated by group classes and that sort of accountability.
