It comes with a program called xdelta which is used to patch the rom. XDelta UI didnt work for me. Patching using xdelta NDS. Nov 13, 2015 - Note:this GUI was specifically created for fansub projects (anime/dorama etc), but it should work with all video sources as well. With this GUI you can create easily patches for either single video files or whole batches (multiple files). Credits for the xdelta3.exe go to.
Here’s a screen by screen patch guide. I hope it helps! 😀 Make sure you have a clean rom and not a trimmed one, or you may get some errors! D: Make sure you extract the.rar after you download it. You can use WinRAR to extract it 🙂 1. Click Open, next to the first box. (Underneath Patch) 2.
Find the patch you downloaded and extracted. The extension will be.xdelta 3. Click the Open, next to the second box. (Underneath Source) 4.
Find your Japanese rom of the game. You can put it in the same folder with the patch to make it easier to find.
Click the “” next to the third box. (Underneath Output) 6. Choose a spot for your English version. It can be anywhere you want. For easy access to it, choose the folder with the patch and Japanese rom or your desktop. After that, make a name for the patch and add “.nds” on the end, without the quotation marks.
Click on Apply and wait a moment for it to patch. Try not to interrupt it or do anything on the computer until it’s done, in case it interferes with the patching.
Drivers Nvidia Geforce 8500 Gt Ubuntu there. You’ll know it’s done when it says, “File patched successfully.” 8. Have fun playing it! Are you sure you’re using the xdelta that we provided you and not from some place else?
Here’s the instructions again so you can check if you missed or did a step differently: First, Google “Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 2nd Season rom”. Google should give you plenty of links to choose from. Once you’ve downloaded one, extract it with winrar.
That’s a program too, so if Windows tells you it doesn’t know what to do with the.rar file, get Winrar. (Google this too, since it’s free) Make sure the.nds file that you’ve extracted from the rar is 256mb.
Next, open the xdeltaUI mod that we’ve given you in the patch. There will be three sections, all with the OPEN/ button beside. Basically you click on them and select these. Patch: Choose the.xdelta file that you’ve downloaded from us Source file: Choose the ROM you downloaded Output file: Choose somewhere you want your patched rom to be.
For example, choose your desktop, and type in a name you want. E.g: TMGS2.nds Hit apply. In a few minutes, you’ll find your TMGS2.nds on your desktop and ready to play! Please come back if you have any problem and we’ll try our best to help! Ok,I’ll try it up,though my poor “baby” is now “hospitalized” thanks to something my brother did to its system, but I’ll be sure try it.No,I’m not a mac user.My “baby” uses Windows 7(hope that helps) 🙂 Also,I know it’s kinda stupid to ask,but I’m gonna do so anyway.I have TMGS1 english translated, and I want to transfer it to a nitnendo ds console I intend to buy. However,I heard this works with a flash cartridge only on ds and ds lite, but I seem to find only 3ds and dsi when I go shopping.Do you know if I can still transfer the game to these consoles too? Please and thank you~ •. Haha, I don’t let my siblings touch my “baby”. I’m a little confused, but please bear with me.
You have a copy of TMGS1 patched that I assume you played on an emulator, but you’re getting an NDS handheld and would like to know if you can play it on there, too? Some flashcarts work on the 3DS now(Note: You can’t play 3DS games on the flashcarts yet, but you can play your DS flashcart games on your 3DS). You can use a flashcart on a DSi, too. I have a DSi XL and an Acekard 2i if it helps you any. : Your comment is awaiting moderation.: Your comment is awaiting moderation.
Where can I get a clean jp version x.x Been looking around and can’t seem to find any yet. I can’t apply the patch because I have one that’s already english patched. Well I can find some but they aren’t 256MB Dx Okay I found the 256MB ones, but when I download them it comes out as 233MB. Also, the instructions are a bit confusing e.e; I’m still getting the expected error. Can the admin or whoever is in charge of updating the patch make a quick video tutorial? Or better screenshot tutorials Or just upload a new fully patched version x.x; sorry making this so difficult. Did you put everything in the same folder?
And followed the guide step by step? Make sure your clean Japanese rom is 256MB. Anything smaller and it’ll most likely be trimmed, which won’t work. Also be sure to wait for it to say “Patched successfully” “Pick the correct patch when pressing the first “Open.” And pick your CLEAN ROM when pressing the second “Open.” Press the “” and name it whatever you want and choose a place to put it. Naming it, “You better work damn you.nds” also works, as long as it has *.nds at the end of it.
