Thanks for your reply. I have done it myself as I've owned a few Jap imports and none of it phases me. I've actually brought two over, one to keep and one to perhaps sell. I will post some pics soon as its really quite special! Now these cars have reached 10 years of age I'm pretty certain they will gain quite a following over here. It would be fantastic to have its own section on here! I'm learning as I go and I'm not hugely technical or mechanically minded but I do know a bit about their spec and have a few personal contacts.

Jbob (not sure this was the best name as my predictive text keeps trying to put ' ' in its place! Armando Deffis Caso Libros Pdf Psicologia there. ). It's a pearl white 3ltr 2WD with cream heated leather and just about every available extra and only covered 39k miles in ten years! I'm in the process of fully converting it with UK sat nav and can't wait to get it on the road and show it off!

I can tell you it goes like a bat out of hell for such a big heavy 8 seater! Much better to drive than a 2.4 and I think nicer looking than the 3.5ltr variant. Got a feeling you'll be seeing me on here often with my tales of ownership!
Whereabouts are you located? I was so close to jumping in on a 57k Black VG with full Mugen bodykit for £5k (+ shipping/import/registration etc.), I actually kinda regret not doing it at the time as it stands! I've heard they're extremely quick on the J30/J35 V6s, even at 1,850KG pushing 300hp will do that. I agree on the Elysion Prestige, the two things which made it a no go for me were the big ugly front grill, and the full center console between the front seats which means you can't easily just walk into the back area without going out of the car again.
It would be really useful to potential future owners to see how to convert the Sat Nav to UK Jim, might be a nice idea to write a guide up here. The more Elysion content that starts being generated the more future owners will find us I'm up in Northants, around the Kettering/Corby area. - I had no idea Ireland had such high vehicle tax. Mine is still £240 for the year as it's an import. Not sure how to 'quote' properly using this site so this was copied and pasted using my iPhone.! 'Internavi system/other OEM or aftermarket? I've the Internavi and have had no luck with finding a way of changing the system menus, voice, voice commands, or the maps to English, please share if there is a way' I have purchased and received a unit from 'alibaba' an online traders site. It claims to completely replace the OEM with their aftermarket device that also comes with its own dvd drive.
According to them it's designed to work seamlessly with all controls and adds UK & European sat nav, As well as iPod connectivity and Bluetooth. It arrived after just a few days and looks nicely made, hopefully it'll work!! My experience of aftermarket goods is that it's a bit 'hit and miss' Unfortunately, there is no getting away from the fact that the main control wheel, (a bit like BMW's I drive) has got some Japanese writing in a couple of places.
I have downloaded Honda Japan's manual and it explains each function in it so I'll try and figure it out!! Having a bit of an issue with keys, or should I say lack of keys. It only came with one key but should have come with 2 plus 2 remote fobs and a 'smart' key as mine is a smart key version. I'm currently in talks with the import co. About sourcing these rather important items and the time delay is frustrating but at least they are trying to help. I honestly cannot believe just how good the condition of this car is.
Considering its 11 years old it still has all the blue wrap on the stainless steel it left the factory with. It even has the plastic wrap on the front interior uprights! The car it's replaced is a Toyota Estima 2.4l petrol with 7 seats (captain seats in middle) which I've had for over 5 years. It's been utterly brilliant but I'm used to more bells and whistles and it's fairly basic even though it's an 'Aeras' edition. My children are older now so the days of sticky lollipops and random boiled sweets stuck in various places are hopefully on their way out! I've read them the riot act about no messing in this car - you know, the usual stuff we all say!!
