After upgrading to windows 10 pro x64 (from windows 8.1 pro x64) I have not 5.1 surround on my Samsung htd 5550. I use optical connection too. In fact when I go to control panel>hardware and sound>sound my Realtek digital output (optical) seems to work, but I can hear only 2 out of 6 six speakers working. The configure button is also greyed out so I cannot select 5.1 speakers. Moreover I can only see two tabs in the Realtek hd manager (digital input, digital output), the speaker tab is gone and there is no way to choose 5.1 sound like I used too. I have already tried removing Realtek drivers, installing the latest 2.79 to no avail.

I have gigabyte eg41mf-ush2 motherboard.
